I like bears, their wet noses, their fur, and their ambling walk. They seem unconcerned about any difficulties in life, just using their paws and strength to overcome any stress. Too cold? Hibernate in a hollowed out place...Too hot? take a dip in the stream. Too hungry? Risk a few bee stings and go for the honey hive. Also berries work too...!
Once in Yellowstone when I was perhaps 7 a bear broke into the storage space under the bed in the back where my mom and dad were sleeping and tried to crawl in! I woke up to my mom banging pots and pans to scare it away. It was common in those days to walk right by bears ambling along in the campground.
Bears have good karma and their peace goes out in the world...In the concert I conducted recently in GV with about 1,000 attending a pretty much full house, I think the band set a record...H. Owen Reed's "La Fiesta" got a standing ovation (he was there to hear it!), the Rhapsody in Blue did too, and also my performance of John Denman's Crossover Concerto.
You give out good energy and you get it back!
I have been a happier bear lately, knowing velvetginger, her clan, reconnecting with ms. creek, and just being able to enjoy every day is a real gift! Now back to work...

Grandpa Creek used to say: "If you play with the bear, eventually you will get the CLAW!"
Hi there meanie, glad your out playing again...
I don't mind being clawed by Papa Bear. He is very gentle.
Thanks again John for sharing your concert with me....love that clarinet solo! I am very proud of you!
Bears have always "rocked my world"...and now...oh my!
Well, MB is totally awesome! And I love all the Creek gals too!
PB at almost midnight!
Concert tomorrow night with Albert George Schram, my conducting idol, playing music by John Williams. I played several times under the baton of John Williams in Tucson Symphony concerts, he once stopped the orchestra and said something like "great bass clarinet!"

OH MY! As well, PB is enigmatic, full of incongruities, and diffictult to understand. Thank you so much MB for entering my world and gently growling at all my strangeness! And, as well, encouraging my strenghts.
PB
oops, my spelling aren't too great at midnight, I knew it are "strenghts!"

I would like you to "paw me" Pappa bear...you never use your claws on me.....like the pawing though!
uhhh, don't know exactly what to say after that one!
LOL
Well...Papa Bear is gentle...kind...protective...
Papa Bears don't Claw Mama Bears...they "paw them" playfully..mentally stimulate and encourage...I think Big Ol' Papa Bears Claw obnoxious Baby Dragons though!!!
actually, the hump on the back is indeed a physical feature of ALL grizzlies...just looking at them, you can't tell, you have to tickle the armpits until it rolls on its back and then look, that's the only way, or so scott says, lol.
Scott is a Game Warden's daughter too? I knew he was wonderful!
well...uhh...scott isn't anybody's daughter, LMFAO!
Good thing! FFS!

OMG! The WILD life has been busy on the blog page while PB was out playing music! You Creek gals are too much!!! Silly, funny, and delightfully naughty sometimes! PB has to go to church, pray for the bloggers, teach the little kiddies, then play anohter concert of John Williams music after lunch! I'm glad you gals like to come out and play at night! PB
much needed prayer for the bloggers!
I texted Ellie with "C G G W". She wrote back "WHAT?" I had to explain that my texting puts in words now instead of letters, and it was difficult to write in "Creek Grils Gond WILD"!
Maybe you should have a communal blog page with that name????
PB
oops, PB got too excited and misspelled "Creek Girls Gone WILD!"
Or...maybe a C G G W video???!!!
i bet you are pushing for the video!
lol! omg! When is it comin' out?
